B6 Shocks
Not all dampers are created the same... the biggest difference between these units and their twin tube rivals is their ability to combine a smooth ride with excellent spring control.
Especially noticeable is the way the Bilstein damper deals with big bumps or potholes and its control of small deflections of suspension at high speed. An excellent upgrade on their own or matched to a set of lowering springs.
B6
B6 - Ideal upgrade for standard dampers, all the benefits of B8, but standard length designed to work with standard ride height and lowering springs up to approx 30mm lowering (please note only a guide the key criteria is to ensure location of spring on droop). Usually always monotube and on MacPherson strut applications typically upside down monotube - fixed piston - reduced unsprung weight - better grip and damping responses.
