Nitron Racing offer a range of high performance "coilover" shocks or "Coilovers" for both cars and motorcycles

All Nitron's shocks are designed in house using the latest full 3D solid modelling CAD techniques. All the shock components are CMC machined from the best billet materials entirely in the UK ensuring total quality control.

Nitron Fast Road

The Fast Road is the entry level NTR shock available as a 1-way adjustable damper. This shock is popular with predominantly road-use customers who drive hard and fast; demanding the best from the chassis but require a degree of comfort. Softer valving and springs combined with the ability to run at original ride heights (and slightly lowered if required) result in a great road shock with superb all-round capabilities. As this shock is part of the NTR range it will perform consistently during a week of blasting round the Nurburgring if required and can be rebuilt to any of the other NTR specifications in the future.

The kit comprises four 1-way adjustable dampers with fitted springs. The single adjuster knob affects both bump and rebound for simple setup with a road-biased spec. These shocks are designed to run inverted for reduced unsprung mass and therefore optimum performance. Dampers are delivered preset with a full compliment of bearing spacers ready to fit to the car. Nitron Race 3 Way

This kit is designed for serious race use and as such incorporates high and low speed bump control valves for further chassis fine tuning. By adjusting either bump or rebound damping the damping ratio can be adjusted, however the extra adjustment over the R1 opens up many more options during the setup process. For example the high speed damping can be kept soft so the car is not thrown by running kerbs, whilst not compromising body control in the transient cornering phase (turn in, applying power). The low speed control is more concerned with grip. Softening the low speed will increase the grip, useful if suffering from power-oversteer.
