Our first commitment is to you the customer - I have been running Balance Motorsport since 2004 and I've not yet failed to make good on an order or comply with a customers request, where reasonable.

Terms and Conditions
Orders - offer and acceptance
All products appearing on the website are invitations for a customer to make an offer to buy. By selecting items and then adding to the shopping basket and then completing the Sage Pay payment process, the customer is making an offer to purchase the products. Balance Motorsport will send an email to confirm that we have received your offer and that we are processing it. You will then receive another email to confirm that the offer has been accepted and that the goods will be despatched. In some situations the product ordered may no longer be available or there may be an alternative. This process ensures we cross check the product required thoroughly and minimises the risks of incorrect goods being sent.
Despatch & Delivery
We will endeavour to dispatch all orders the same day the order is placed (TYPICALLY 90% orders ship within 48 hours) and no later than 5 working days after order is placed. In any event we always double check to make sure we are shipping the right parts. Certain items are made to order and the estimated delivery time is stated in the product description (for example Gaz Suspension).Our couriers deliver next day Monday-Friday. Delivery dates are stated in good faith, but are sometimes beyond our control. If you need alternative delivery arrangements to these options please contact us.
Delivery charges include packaging materials, insurance and tracking facilities. A delivery surcharge may apply if your order is in a remote area of the United Kingdom. Most of the time we try to absorb the additonal cost but on low value orders (below £100) a surcharge may apply.
Refunds and returns
Balance Motorsport will comply with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2014.
Please always request a returns number before sending goods back.
If any item is damaged or faulty when it arrives, we will replace it without charge however the cost of returning the item to us or our supplier will be borne by the customer.
Please note that the onus is on the mechanic installing to ensure the parts are correct before fitting. Occasionally picking and packing errors do occur. It is taken as given that the installer possesses the necessary level of skill and experience to be sure the part they are fitting is correct. For example there are subtle differences in brake pads that may allow an incorrectly supplied part to be fitted - clearly it is very important that supplied parts are checked before fitting. We cannot accept returns of incorrectly supplied parts that have been used.
For example below are two brake pads - with different shapes and sizes. However in this instance although pad B is incorrect it will actually fit and could be used. Clearly if we supply the wrong part we can easily change it before it is installed.
Parts that are installed and used cannot be returned unless done so with a warranty returns number.
All accepted returns must be returned to us in their original packaging at your expense. It is your responsibility to ensure that the goods are returned using a reputable courier with insurance and proof of delivery or returned in person. If you cannot do this we can arrange for collection but this will be at your expense. Our liability is limited to replacement or refund. Correctly supplied goods may be exchanged for alternatives, a full value credit note or a refund. Depending on the type of goods and the condition they are returned in we reserve the right to apply a variable % handling charge. A delivery charge for replacements will apply.
Clearly the onus is on the installer to ensure they have the necessary skill to carry out the work to the required standard and also confirm the correct parts are being used before installation.
Delivery charges are strictly non-refundable. Some of the products we sell are classed as "Special Order" items. These will be sold without the right to cancellation under the Distance Selling regulations and cannot be returned unless faulty. You will be informed, prior to dispatch, should your order contain one of these products.
Please allow up to 14 working days for a refund to appear on your card statement.
Product performance, variations and revisions
Product performance descriptions are based on the product being correctly installed by suitably skilled person. We will not be liable for poor performance owing to incorrect installation or incorrectly specified parts– for example incorrect bedding-in of braking products. Products are often revised by the manufacturers. Pictures on the website are generally generic and should not be used to identify the exact product. Specifications may change without notice. Product descriptions are assumed correct at the time of publishing and may have changed since. Please remember that the onus is on the installer to ensure the car is safe. For example if you purchase a very large rear anti-roll bar and fit it to a rear wheel drive car and then spin off damaging your car this not a fault with the product but the installation. If you fit high friction pads to the rear axle and not the front again the fault lies with the installation not the product.
Price and Currency
Prices shown are in GBP Sterling and generally exclude VAT (to see the total cost add items to basket and click order now) unless otherwise stated and can change without notice. If you wish to pay by bank transfer please contact us for details.
We welcome export business and have sent parcels to many different countries, not currently on our shipping rosta. Please get in touch so that we may quote. We accept bank wire in advance.
VAT Free EU Sales
For EU VAT free transactions again please email, payment via bank wire in advance.
Orders cancelled within one hour of placement will not incur any processing fees. Orders cancelled after this period, that have already been packed or dispatched, may incur charges in relation to any costs involved. These will be strictly limited to packaging costs or freight charges incurred by us.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations you (the buyer) are entitled to return the goods within 14 working days for a refund subject to the following:
i)It is reasonable for you to open the outer packaging and inspect the goods. It is not acceptable to use or install the product.
ii)You must notify the company at the address below in writing or via email, nonetheless the you will usually bear the costs of returning the goods.
Special order goods are exempt from this cancellation period, and you will be emailed so you are aware if a good is subject to a special order.

Our terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. Any contract with Balance Motorsport is governed by English Law.
