Abarth 695 131 Rally Tribute in for a TD04 conversion

The Abarth 695 131 Tributo is a high-performance compact car produced by Abarth, the performance division of the Italian automaker Fiat. It is a limited-edition model that pays homage to the iconic Fiat 131 Abarth Rally, a highly successful rally car from the 1970s which won three WRC manufacturer titles and two drivers’ championships. The Abarth 695 131 Tributo features a distinctive body kit, rear spoiler and special seats.

However the power remains the same. Well this must be one of the first big turbo conversions carried out to one of these. The car had barely 200 miles on the clock when the customer came to us for a TD04 turbo conversion.

As it is a Euro 6 D model the remap will be conducted elsewhere.

The results - flywheel corrected Horsepower - 270 at 6741 rpm, peak torque - 237 lb ft at 5100rpm. These EURO 6 engines are using data from a number of different maps, and switching in light of EGT, knock sensing and load demands very quickly.  This explains the slight differences in the peaks between different runs. It also explains how they are able to make such prodigious power from just 1368cc.
